Lockdown Diaries: Sudhashree Deb x The Work Label
“During this pandemic, one thing I realized for sure is that The Work Label gave me relief from all the difficulties when it comes to dressing for work.” ~Sudhashree Deb (Software Engineer and Artist)
Sudhashree Deb is a software engineer at a Bangalore based MNC, an artist and a gardening enthusiast with her own kitchen garden overlooking the city. Apart from her work as a geeky corporate, she likes to dabble in painting and dancing as well. Her creative works look fantastic in the form of digital paintings that include oil portraits, sketches, caricatures and home décor paintings. Just before the lockdown began, Sudhashree decided to pay us a visit at Inorbit Mall, Whitefield, Bangalore, not necessarily looking for formal office wear for ladies.
“I had visited the Inorbit mall where I saw The Work Label’s store for the very first time. At that moment, it wasn’t actually a store, it was a kiosk in a corner but still eye-catchy. Simple but comfortable designs, the colors, the exact fittings which I really felt comfortable in, that you can’t find anywhere else. I bought two tops that day and was too excited to wear those to my office. But because of the pandemic (COVID-19), that really never happened. But again, The Work Label surprised me with its WFH collection which attracts me again and again. I have become a regular customer nowadays... looking forward to shop with you again!”
From this testimonial, one thing’s for sure. This pandemic isn’t going to keep us from clothing our favorite working women around town or them from finding us, be it online or offline.
